Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Completing standard admin work. There are times where I am expected to help out last minute with events or meetings. Mainly office-based, working on computers conducting emails and gathering and dispersing info but sometimes will need to go onto factory floor to complete tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the programme, however I feel as though apprentice leaders should be a bit more involved with apprentice progress. apprentice leaders need to push the apprentices more.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication skills and multitasking skills since working here. there are many things that you learn on the job, such as how to take minutes for a meeting, how to book in visitors and host visitors on site.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

it wasnt organised very well in the beginning. We now have better structure, people have set rotational departments every couple of months, then have electives departments. Things should be set in stone before starting the apprenticeship year, that way things are fair and people cant complain.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my mentors, they have tried to help me a lot whilst i have struggled.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Its okay. not the best but not the worst. I feel as though theres not enough detail to help me complete the work, i struggle to understand things sometimes as i am neurodivergent.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

make sure to do your research about the company, make sure you commit to your standard work and make sure to complete your NVQ!
