Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Sheet and plate metal fabricator. I get taught how to make various shapes and how to work within tolerances and learn what sort of quality is expected.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot as there isn't much of a rush to get things done and you can work at your own pace.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I knew nothing about metal work before this so I have learnt a lot.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The entire programme is organised so that we know where we will be even months before we are even close to being at that point.

I have to do all my work myself but if I am struggling they will help me try to understand how to do a certain thing better.

If I hadn't started the apprenticeship I simply wouldn't of been able to do my role.
