Shadowing more experienced members of BAE, learning from them and trying new skills, and working on my HNC
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is a great opportunity and a great business to work in, every day is different and there are lots of placements too choose from.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my skills in CAD, I have learned how to work in a business environment(meetings, colleagues etc)
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised however if there is a software problem it takes days maybe weeks to get someone to sort it out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Plenty of support however a lot of software isn't working and the HNC teachers offer minimal support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not a lot, in lesson it is okay however skype lessons are much harder to learn from and very minimal after lesson support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the maths, design and science can all cross over into my working role.

It offers great experiences, and many opportunities to develop skills.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
You must really love the work and be driven otherwise you will never thrive, however if you do love the work you will fly through!
