Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
One week immersion in two departments:
Analytics & Sales,
Global Data.
The Insight week was full of interesting and entertaining activities that not only helped you to understand the different activities that are carried out in the different departments but also gave you an overview of the culture and the core values of the company. Moreover, at the end of the day, we also had the opportunity to network and talk with the team leaders.

The Insight week was full of interesting and entertaining activities that not only helped you to understand the different activities that are carried out in the different departments but also gave you an overview of the culture and the core values of the company. Moreover, at the end of the day, we also had the opportunity to network and talk with the team leaders.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really insightful and open-minded. We have been shown every single task and skill that the departments require. Moreover, by doing exercises, quizzes and simulations it was so easy and challenging to understand the potential roles available at Bloomberg L.P.

Yes. I have definitely learned how to use the Bloomberg Terminal. I had the opportunity to learn new functions in every single daily activity.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was literally amazing. The core values of Bloomberg can be seen from how the London office is structured to the way people work in the firm help and talk to you and this makes Bloomberg so unique. It is incredible how even the work environment can support environment, inclusion and diversity. Another aspect that encouraged me to apply and that I was amazed to discover more during in the week is the Best of Bloomberg and all the charity activities that employees can do.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg
I would definitely suggest to know the firm, its values and culture and know what is going on. in the market. Don't be discouraged if you are not studying either Finance or Economics, there is a higher level of academic diversity thus if you are deeply motivated and interested in knowing more about the FinTech industry and the Bloomberg environment, don't hesitate to apply! Last but not least, be confident in yourself!
