I help run the store and setting up our targets. I do deliveries and fill up the stock. Help manage the team and make sure customers needs are met.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have an amazing team in store which definitely helps! My apprenticeship is overseen
by my apprenticeship trainer and she will always help me with anything i need. I love learning so it’s a great experience to get to know more.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes definitely. I have learnt more details on how stock is controlled, working with banking/money. Higher level of understanding how the store runs day-to-day
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship trainer is always there to answer any questions i may help and will always help me understand something if i am struggling. I get 2 hours a week to do all my workbook training and my team are always supporting me too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My two managers are always willing to help me and show me new things. Everyone is always supportive and whenever higher managers are in they always ask how i’m getting on and if i need anything from them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is amazing and i can’t fault them. They help with anything i need.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have learnt so many new things that will help me progress in the future so i’m excited to see what’s next.

There’s a lot more to it than what you may see! it’s a busy store but well worth it.
