Typically, I am learning about the ways to manage a project and have been given some responsibilities that are my own within my project so I will ensure that those are well maintained, such as chasing people for updates and looking after the schedule.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Overall it is well structured, however, there are some discrepancies surrounding policies and procedures between different sectors, so it can get confusing
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, there are multiple avenues for me to go down if I need guidance
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Cumbria are good at supporting people in gaining their qualifications and listen to feedback, however, it is harder to gain support when you don't have an official diagnosis
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I learn new skills at University and these become transferable to my placement, often my manager aligns the modules in University to the work I am given on placement
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

It's a friendly working environment that understands that you are an apprentice, they try to be accommodating and give support. It's also a great way to get your degree and gain experience in the field
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Speak to other people who do the job your doing before your interview, it will help with your answers and make sure to research the company before hand
