Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role entails learning about and repairing light vehicles and maintaining them. My day-to-day tasks involve servicing, brake repairs, tyre repairs, vehicle health checks and maintaining a clean and tidy work area across the workshop.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is exceptionally enjoyable and not a day goes by where I don’t look forward to learning something new everyday.

Since I began my apprenticeship, everything I currently possess in my knowledge has been a result from either college work or direct learning at work. The skill sets gained from working in the motor trade grant an overwhelming variety of career paths of all different nature, from higher qualified technician to engineering and vehicle design

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme I am on contains very good organisational structure and to me is a highlight of the programme as a whole. They space out the learning across 12 different learning blocks and with this method employed, the learning is easy and not full on at all
