Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
working as a member of my team, conducting the full role and learning as i go.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
i aimed to be in this industry and the apprenticeship is the best balance between learning and actively doing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
i have continued to learn and develop skills day in day out.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
the program is well laid out and i know what is ahead of me for the next 5 years.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
as much as is reasonably possible
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
as much as is reasonably possible
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
i think the bridge between classroom learning and practical work is not always there. the qualification feels a lot more separate from the work i do, but the world of engineering is too vast for any qualification to be perfect
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Stem ambassadors and nuclear scholars. both aim to work with schools and younger people to show them a glimpse into this world

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
there was not a single downside to this job. im treated as staff, but still taught every step of the way, literal benefits are very generous and all together i wouldn't change it for anything.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
just apply. link experience to their behaviours and stay positive.
