Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Come into the office, have a morning meeting to establish what everyone is doing for that day, speak to clients and buyers and update their details on the CRM system and also speak to people that have enquired to view a property from previous days, carry out viewings that are booked into the diary, follow up with clients once the viewings have taken place.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have stumbled upon an opportunity that I am forever grateful for and I have definitely enjoyed my time here so far. The job is just so much more than sitting in the office, staring at a computer screen for hours and going home at the end of the day and that is what makes this job more enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have been at Savills as an apprentice for just over 2 years now and you just do not stop learning. This role also gives you the tools to develop skills. For example, this job role has allowed me to develop my team-working skills over the years that I have been here, as we normally have to book viewings in for each other and cover for each other.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
This is my second apprenticeship here at Savills and in terms of how my previous and current programme is structured, I would say that it is structured decently. The transition from the first apprenticeship to the second had minor complications however, it was sorted promptly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My employers are very supportive. I've never been afraid to ask any questions or speak with them regarding anything to do with the role. They have made this side of things quite comfortable and easy-going.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider is excellent when it comes to this. He is very responsive and offers a ton of support in any area within the curriculum. When ever I have had an issue with anything, we would go through what ever I am struggling with in detail, so that I know exactly what I need to do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
What is so great about this particular qualification is we realise that we do most of the things and techniques that are covered, in our job role already, which makes it easier to relate to and to refresh our knowledge on.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
One of the reasons why Savills is so enjoyable is because of the range of extra curricular activity that you can get involved in. We hold and apprenticeship awards ceremony every year now, which is also a very good opportunity to network with other apprentices from different regions and connect. There are tons of other events that occur as well.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because what I've learnt from being here is that this company is for absolutely anyone and everyone no matter what and there's equal opportunities for everyone.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
Firstly, I would say to just be yourself. This is the only way you can really make an impression on your interviewers and stand out from anyone else. Secondly, believe in yourself. There are going to be a lot of other applicants going for the same role as you, it's very daunting, but once you believe you can do something, you'll do it. And lastly, don't be nervous! The interviewers are very friendly and welcoming, which will put you at ease and make the process smoother.
