Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role requires me to manage resource, assist supply chain in procurement by raising requisitions, report on programme progress, ensure processes are being followed, manage sharepoint sites assist in LCM preparation to ensure programme goals are achieved. All of this whilst studying my degree
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
My programme is difficult as it requires you to manage a full time job in parallel to completing all university modules, however it provides you with real word experience which is a necessity. I enjoy it but it is mentally draining and very demanding however you always have support where it is needed.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have really developed my excel skills, understanding how to write formulas and produce tables to help provide visuals for programme data. I have developed my understanding of the governance processes when holding an LCM review. I have learned how to use new software.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Reviews are held every 12 weeks to monitor progress and group reviews are help in those gaps where concerns can be addressed and apprentices can help one another. It is very well organised, however placements are not communicated to apprentices long enough before the suggested move date
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support, there are a lot of opportunities to voice concerns and you can always contact skills coaches when you need to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I don't believe univeristy offer as much support however it is still offered on the days we attend, it is just harder to access as we're only there once a week
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I don't feel like it helps me perform better in my role but it helps me understand why processes are needed in my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
