Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The role of a machinist is to use different machines and manufacture different components. I go on the milling machines and the lathes on a daily basis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my apprenticeship as it's allowing me to constantly learn new skills and I have also made lots of new mates.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I believe I have developed lots of new skills and my existing skills, for example I have developed my adaptability as I've had to be adaptable when coming into the work place from school.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think it's structured well in Sask because we have a rota for what work we are doing on each day.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a lot of support from employers and the team leaders as they are always encouraging us.
