Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I complete one uni day a week and work 4 other days. My role varies on which placement I am in, I usually complete tasks to help the team I am working with at the time set by my line manager/leader for that placement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my apprenticeship and think it's a great mix of learning whilst developing workplace skills.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've learnt how to use multiple new types of software like Enterprise Architect and Matlab. I've also build new communication skills from speaking to my team and speaking on team meetings.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I think my programme is quite well structured and explained
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive plenty of support from my Line manager, my team and Early Careers as well as having support from uni.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Plenty of support in and outside uni, easy to contact them for help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Although they're not directly linked some of the things we learn can be applied into our day to day working life and can make certain projects easier. E.g. some of the software we learnt at uni I also used at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are plenty of Stretch Opportunities (e.g. assisting with interviews, career fairs) to get involved with which introduces you to a range of new people and skills
