Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
we are given many different jobs on a day to day basis and no day is the same, could be a small job or something more complex.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
there were highs but there was also times where i was low, each time i felt either one of these i had the correct people around me to either share in the happiness or to guide and encourage to develop and improve or to just listen to anything i needed

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
during my apprenticeship, i have developed my skills and i have overcome many hurdles during this. i have also learnt alot about what is to be expected of me from the company but also what the company can do for me

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
during college, i would suggest that it was very poorly ran, we had a lesson where we didn't have a teacher for nearly 6 months, and we were then expected to pass an online exam. the SASK, this was a lot better and there was a structure in place to enable us to succeed
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
during the course, i had a few personal issues along with COVID and each time the company was there to help, guide and encourage me to be better and to just listen to my problems and allow me time to overcome them and be better!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
we were given the best chances to succeed, however they can only do so much and i say its down to us to ensure that we turn in, listen and adapt to the challenges put in front of us.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
the qualification is good however there are certain aspects of the apprenticeship that would need looking into and altering for the more modern and ever developing engineering world that we find ourselves in!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are many different activities that get announced on the canvas app that we use to communicate with our skills coaches and managers throughout the sask
