Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work with the shop floor to diagnose and rectify problems with tooling. I then create designs for tools that will fix the issue and fill in the paperwork to allow this to happen.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The placement structure is good however, the college aspect is very poor.

A lot of support and the support services are constantly available.

3/5
It has been difficult due to a lot of upheaval within the training school to assess the amount of support we receive. Aspects have been good but other aspects have been poor.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel like a lot of the subject matter taught in the training school does not apply to my role. I.e. electrical systems has never and will never be an aspect of my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes there are lots of extra-curricular and STEM activities available to all apprentices in the training school
