Everyday is great- I don't feel like i'm comin to work

5/5
I have learnt how to use SAP, drive a forklift and general improvement on IT skills

It's very well organised once your settled. I spent the first two weeks in induction and then was given my first 12 months of placements.

5/5
As much as required.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
As a logistics apprentice you do not go to college, all your training is on site. You spend time down the SASK building with your skills coach and take courses such as working at height, confined spaces and fork lift. All fully supported
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Training on the job is so much better than going to college as you are learning the skill and putting it into practise straight away.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
As part of my stretch activities I write a monthly logistics newsletter as well as go to infant schools to carry out STEM activities with children.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
BAE is a great place to work with many opportunities as well as excellent benefits, such as Shares, pension and flexible maternity/paternity. It's well paid and you will be well taken care of
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Be yourself, research the role particularly logistics as a lot of people mistake it for office based supply chain which it is not, it's just part of the supply chain process. Prepare for online and in person interviews. Use STAR method to answer questions.
