Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I have year long placements in different areas of the business as a PM and complete a degree at the same time, of which is 4 years long, with an EPA at the end.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I think there are a number of opportunities that are provided to you as an apprentice, however I do think the amount of opportunities is based off you team and you finding this for yourself.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have been given a number of opportunities, to speak with senior management, as well as the opportunity to travel with work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I think it is well structured, however there are a lot of different teams in early careers and sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish who to go to when.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I feel there is ample support if you need it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I do feel that there are a few areas of improvement with the training provider, with inconsistency with marking and teaching, as well as contradicting statements.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel there is some knowledge that is valuable to the role of a PM.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Yes I believe so, however they are not communicated very well.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They support you to progress through the business, there are a number of incentives to work harder and there is ample support if you need it.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Find out what BAE is really about, not necessarily the exact work, but look at the values and make sure this is drilled down into your answers.
