On a day-to-day basis, I work on electronic assemblies, fault finding and supporting the build of control surfaces for aircraft.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Although challenging, I enjoy my programme and have learnt a lot of new skills.

I have learnt how to fault find electronic devices, Principles of electronics, communication skills, time management and technical skills.

The overall structure of the apprenticeship is good, allowing for experience across multiple areas of the business.

During the apprenticeship, I have received a lot of support from my employers and managers.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive update progress meetings with my employers each month to ensure I am up to date with work and receive support if needed.

There are lots of social events within work, for example, work meals provided by the business, STEM events providing support to local communities, football and netball teams available and different networking events.

The company offers a great course and competitive salary. There are many extra opportunities for progression and training. If interested, there is also the option to complete a HNC and a degree based on performance.
