Studying theory in the classroom or working on aircraft or in the workshop during practical phases. Each day ends with an hour to consolidate what was learnt in the day.

I've learnt lots of new hand skills surrounding engineering.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is reasonably well structured, we have had our schedule changed a handful of times and there might not be enough time to finish our practical phases, therefore some of our holidays have been taken off us to account for this.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Everyone receives a lot of support and encouragement from all our instructors and most training managers.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training providers give us a lot of support during theory and practical phases, including feedback on how to improve.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like my qualification and the skills I have learnt is 100% preparing me for my role and my future career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

As apprentices, we organise some of our own social events and sports activities. Work often have provided us with days out and experiences to consolidate our knowledge learnt.
