Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

We are being taught aircraft material fundamentals how to perform basic maintenance tasks on aircraft. Involves working with materials in the workshops and theory lessons in the classroom. There are also aircraft in the hangar used to demonstrate the maintenance techniques we have been taught.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's so much fun. Being surrounded by like-minded people and being taught things you are passionate about is exciting. I'm enjoying the prospect of what is yet to come.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I was already passionate about aviation and the tuition I have received reinforces my knowledge on aircraft, how they are assembled and design features considered for air performance. The workshops add more context and practicability to tools I may have already used in my life
