Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Supporting AEs through all stages of the sales cycle. Completing university work. Attending events and meetings with customers/partners.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I feel that for a younger person starting out their career you couldn't really ask for a nicer job. The managers are fantastic, pays pretty good and the benefits are fantastic - as well as of course learning invaluable skills as we develop as young professional adults.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
interpersonal and communication skills have developed the most. I have also learnt how to use certain programs such as powerpoint and excel better. I am learning a lot about what is involved in a B2B sales process and a lot about other companies.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Excellent ! Lots of time is committed to getting us through the apprenticeship with consistent training and upskilling, i feel like we are very high on the priority list.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
All the support I could possibly need and more!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The weekly online lectures are limited but if I have queries/questions we can ask anything and expect a prompt response.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Very well. Mostly everything I am learning is completely parallel with my current role and have started to look at what my role requires in different ways.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I only really attend networking events, but there is lots of potential extra curricular activities available.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend SAP to a friend?
Yes
Why?
If you're looking for a healthy work life balance as a young adult and a way to break into the tech industry - SAP is the company to do it at!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SAP?
Make the most of everything SAP has to offer (learning wise). Use all the resources (there are many) and most of all, enjoy the little things like the benefits. It's such a diverse workforce you shouldn't be nervous about starting - there are lots of likeminded people here!
