Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day to day basis I am involved in meetings with many different levels of people, I help in projects that are customer facing, interact with Account Executives on a daily basis and assist them in tasks as well as the occasional customer meeting on/off site
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my program both the University side and the practical work side, there are so many opportunities for me and the other apprentices to take, the work is engaging and interesting and I have met so many new people through the program
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting the apprenticeship I have learned many new skills such as Networking, Sales skills, negotiating and developed many more such as presenting, PowerPoint skills, excel and many others, there are many extra training courses that SAP run such as 'professional skills' which help build out these skills
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

the program is very well structured with a more hands off approach being applied which is very good in this sense, whilst we still have weekly team meeting calls and 1-2-1's with our managers we still receive training on key topics such as professional business skills and Tools that SAP uses
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer as both my Apprentice manager and my sales manager are always on hand if I have a question or need support, likewise other employees such as AE's and others are always there if I need, are always friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with any problems I may have
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive good support from them, with the University hosting sessions to help us through the content and the lecturers being free to answer any questions we may have
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

there are extra curricular activities to get involved in at SAP such as through sports like running or football or more literature based clubs such as languages or book club, there are many options

Why?
SAP is an amazing company to work for, the culture and work ethic here are very good and very employee centric, the Apprenticeship managers are all amazing and my coworkers are all brilliant, the support and help that I have at this job are incredible and much better than I thought they would be. SAP is a great company to work for and there's a reason its not uncommon to have people staying here 20-30 years
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SAP?
Be yourself, SAP is very personal in their hiring process and having a personality and getting on with others is key, being original and having your own thoughts and being your own person are all very important as originality is a very good trait
