Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Computer based work, administration of private UK Pension Schemes, including writing emails, letters, calculating benefits, and setting up payments.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it enough that I would like to complete my apprenticeship, however I don't want to pursue this as a career.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt all new skills specific to pensions, but developed my english and maths, and professional mannerisms
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It has not been well organised. I have now been an apprentice for over six months, and it is has taken that long to get everything put into place as it should have been from the beginning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supports me and WTW are a good company, who care about their employee's. However it hasn't been a very smooth process trying to receive training as an apprentice.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The Growth Company have been very poor in their support towards my qualifications. They have not been helpful in supporting me towards my qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have completed APE modules which teach us about general pension knowledge. It is not particularly helpful for scheme specific work on my team. Other than that, my assignments only require me to write about my job role and progress, or basic knowledge around work ethic, so I wouldn't say it helps me perform in my job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are raffles and sometimes treats or snacks for specific occasions like Easter or Eid. Sometimes there are competitions to enter around holiday seasons such as art or photography. There are sometimes work social events like a quiz or meal out with your team.

Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They treat me fairly and with respect. I believe I am paid fairly for what I do, and they are flexible with hybrid work agreements and additional support for neurodiverse or disabled employees. I have always had someone to support me or get me the right support when it wasn't in place.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
Be yourself, and have a genuine interest in the job role.
