Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am responsible for the admin coordination for the company's training department. I ensure all training records are up to date and correct and organise ongoing training through the country, then book colleagues onto the session and make sure they have all relevant information they need to attend. I provide reports to the company executives, CQC and local authorities when requested. I communicate daily with service managers dealing with any queries or issues they may have and other stakeholders within the company. I also take on any projects requiring data collection of the training statistics.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed attending my program, the tutor was very knowledgeable and supportive. All tasks and assignments I completed were explained to me clearly and I rarely needed guidance in completing them. however when oi did have any queries my tutor was always on hand. All the subjects covered in classroom sessions were relevant and enjoyable and often started interesting discussions amongst the group.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt to develop my time management skills using different tools and methods, i have also developed my people management skills, learning to communicate with individuals dependent on their personality type and learning type. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about individual personalities and how their strengths can be used to strengthen your own team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme was always very well structured and organised, I was given a clear learning programme and new what to expect at each stage of my learning. If any changes were made to the programme this was always communicated to me with enough notice and clearly to avoid any confusion.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer was very supportive, I am lucky to have a strong manager who is always willing to support me within my learning. I was given the time to attend my classroom sessions and ensured my off the job learning hours were accommodated. My manager attended all meetings between myself and my tutor regularly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I was always given support when required by Chesterfield College. If my tutor was unavailable they always made sure someone else was available for contact. My tutor actually left her role just before my EPA took place and the college were very good in making sure i still had all the support i needed in the run up to EPA, i was introduced to my new contact before my old tutor left.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have become more confident in the work i am producing, I feel I am producing a better quality of work as now i am aware of how this affects different stakeholders. I am often able to predict what the follow up questions may be and ensure i cover those detail within my initial reports. I have also grown as a person and understand different people and the ways they communicate, this has allowed me to adapt the way i communicate to others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Not that i am aware of
