Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Educating Special Ed, where I’m able to inspire and contribute towards students academic success. Learning new teaching methods, theories and factual information and slowly becoming a professional within my chosen career. Meetings and trainings can be challenging but they were able to work around it in order to provide me with the training I need.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

When I was at school, I was never the best and brightest student. Where within the programme I’ve gained more knowledge and developed so many new skills that I will later need in life. It opened my eyes to a whole new different outlook on education.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve developed many skills within my time on the apprenticeship, I’ve seen myself grow and mature during my time on the apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The reason behind this was due to the delay of education that was provided meaning it took longer than expected to receive the training. Whereas other apprentices in working with I started before are flying ahead.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

During challenging times with my mental health, my employers reached out to me concerned and supportive, with ways they’re able to support and help towards getting me through the apprenticeship and keeping me safe.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There was moments where it would get extremely annoying with the delayed training and emails but when I had questions regarding the training I’m doing they answered it in the best way they could.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

They helped me with strategies and techniques on educating students with delayed cognitive abilities.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have Staff events where we go out and collaborate as a team with people we don’t know where we can learn and have a laugh.

Why?
Because of the amount of maturity and how relaxed they all are, and how they treat you like an adult you are.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
They can relaxed and would do anything to help but it’s not a 1 way street it runs both ways. Meaning in order to get the qualification and extreme support you need to put the effort in.
