Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
the insight was great, my technical workshops was very beneficial, it wasn't really motivating as I was the only member from my group who's attending but I used that chance to ask my mentor as much as I can questions and it was really nice,
it was more valuable for me as I was able to share my screen and ask the mentor all the questions I had and he was very nice by explaining everything and he was very confident

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
it open for me more choices to go for in the future, It showed me how amazon business work and especially the leadership principle as the speakers say they use it every day n their work as a daily steps to solve an issue or become with new solutions and I think this helped me to understand how the business work and gave me an idea on how my potential work will look like in the future

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
yes I learned how to do the uni testing and exceptions by showing me exactly how to do it, I also practiced how the real software engineer development interviews goes with my mentor as he answered all my questions and showed me online resources that will help me for the future when I go for any technical roles, also resources about the new things he taught me about like graphs traversals and coloring the neighbor blocks

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
very nice it showed us that how amazon have that type of diversity in its positions so there's a place for everyone from different backgrounds and ethnicities around the world like from disadvantage backgrounds and peoples from different countries around the world and we saw that in the event itself as we saw different ethnicities for the speakers and each one was from different country which help to proof the idea of that diversity

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed it a lot as I was expecting and that encourage me to go for future panels or programs or insights or workshops like these ones in AMAZON for the future as well as looking for more opportunities int he career area for students, I feel if I was able to get this experience in the beginning of the year it would be more helpful as this is a time of exams for us as students

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Amazon
that the should practice the leadership principles when applying and try to prepare a situations to fit each principle as each one will show the interviewers a new side of that friend personality and also allow them to know if this candidate is suitable for the position they're going for or if they need to go for different positions that will suit their knowledge and study and experience to be able to work efficiently
