Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role on a day-to-day basis involves drafting quotes to clients, getting slips created, using placement software, sending bound accounts for billing, dealing with billing queries and corresponding with external stakeholders (such as clients).

I really enjoy my programme - I'm always learning new things everyday and meeting new people along with it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I've learnt new people skills - such the appropriate conversational tone in email correspondence; as well as more about the Insurance market in general (more specifically the London market) through my day-to-day work and undertaking CII exams.

Structure and Support

4/5
Overall my programme is well structured, sometimes there are miscommunications but on the whole I feel well informed about events and next steps within my programme - whether it's through email correspondence or posts on the Teams chat.

5/5
I feel supported by my employer and I know there are people I can turn to when I need help - whether it be to my Line Manager, colleagues or medical professionals.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I do feel supported - I have regular sessions with my Progress Coach and there is a email set up by the Training Provider for any general queries that usually get answered promptly. There have been occasions where workshops have been cancelled but are told in advance and rescheduled.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification gives a me a deeper understanding into the area of business I work in, more specifically the London Market - whether it be regulatory requirements, the terminology used in broking, as well as the placement process when working on accounts.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
The team I work in holds many social events; there are always invitations for professional networking events and other extra-curricular activities with the company - whether it be within the office or externally.
