As a rotating commercial graduate I will spend 6 months in different departments. Currently I work in commercial valuation where I undertake inspections, due diligence/data collection and report writing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme works really well for me and provides a good balance of learning and being able to apply this in work.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills in terms of the workplace. I have also developed knowledge in many aspects of property.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well organised - I am able to be flexible with my study days but can always ensure that I have my allocated time spent working and studying.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very good at allowing me to have my study time and making sure they respect this time. They are also helpful in offering support and help on how the topics relate to practice.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have quarterly meetings with my apprenticeship officer which provides me with the opportunity to ask questions and voice any concerns.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The programme provides me with background knowledge and theories which I use every day at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many networking events within my organisation as well as with other companies. I have also been involved in activities such as careers fairs.

Personality is the most important part - a good employee is someone who you would want to have in the office not necessarily the smartest in the room.
