I am a SHE Advisor, my day to day includes assisting with managing health on safety on our projects, ensuring compliance with our standards and providing advise and guidance to our workforce
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, as I was provided with support whenever I needed it in a very timely manner, and I was given the time to complete any assignments by my employer.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt plenty of skills surrounding health and safety, and have developed my communiciation and organisation skills
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was well structured, however the only improvement I could recommend was to decease the time between each classroom day
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Throughout my apprenticeship I received support from my employer, by giving me the time to complete my tasks and providing teaching on subjects where my knowledge lacked
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received huge amounts of support from my learning provider, especially for the exam preperation.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification provided me with the knowledge to carry out my role, but also helped develop my confidence and communication skills

My experience with Kier has been incredibly positive, and the people I have worked with and for have been excellent.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kier Group?
I work in the construction industry, which is a job for life industry, and working for a company like Kier who are leaders in this sector there is great job security and progression available
