Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a building surveyor, I undertake design work, write specifications of work and manage the people and money involved in construction projects. This can be anything from a refurbishment of an industrial warehouse to an office refurbishment.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I was thrown into the role and learning on the job is a huge benefit. When I started the role the first couple of months, there is less work to do and you can sometimes feel bored, however this changed quickly.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to deal with contractors, the methodology of a building survey, how to write a specification of work and the use of CAD for design.
