Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is to assist senior colleagues with the management of a range of clients' Estates. This varies from matters regarding tenancies, compliance, strategy. The day-to-day work load is property management, however, this aligns with client objectives such as budgeting, ESG, etc. The workload is diverse and interesting.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoy my experience. The workload is varied and rewarding. It is demanding of me but this brings out my best self and allows me to grow my skills which puts me in a good position to progress throughout my career.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned many new skills, these include:
- Written communication in the form of letters, emails, etc.
- The ability to negotiate.
- Critical analysis and detail.
- The ability to be more personable.
- Confidence.
- Existing skills which have been developed include teamwork and initiative.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is extremely well-structured. The training and assistance provided is second-to-none. This gives me confidence that I will be supported and can deliver on both my day-to-day work and professional qualification.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive lots of support from my employer. However, they do push me to be independent.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider offer lots of support and this is extremely useful given the demands of balancing full-time work and a Masters degree.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It is very translatable. It allows me to put into practice in the workplace those technical skills that I learn through study. The only thing I would say is that the qualification is very commercially focussed so sometimes there are shortfalls in my practice as a rural professional.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, lots of social and networking events.
