Gained an in-depth understanding of the recruitment processes of Software Development Engineers at Amazon.
Participated actively in numerous technical workshops which helped me learn how to tackle various coding problems and approach efficient solutions to them.
Attended several webinars where I was introduced to Amazon employees and received great insight into the company’s Leadership Principles and work culture.
Collaborated with different people to solve a good amount of coding problems and developing efficient solutions

It was very amazing to see the inner workings of such a large company and what the work culture was like. I was also surprised to see how you wouldn't need to take excuses for things such as picking children up from school. This really shocked me and made me think about how big companies have changed the way they operate over the years. I also enjoyed having great insight into what a day as a software engineering intern would be like at the company.

I've learnt more about technical recruitment process and attempting possible coding problems in an interview setting, I've also developed my communication and networking skills by talking to different people who I did not know before and collaborating with them to solve different problems and develop efficient solutions. I have a much better idea on what to expect when I apply for technical roles in Amazon and other companies as well. I also developed my team working skills

The company culture was extremely friendly and welcoming. They made sure they answered every single question that came in and gave very detailed guidance into everything we needed to do.
They never made anyone feel like any question asked was too silly or difficult to answer
They fulfilled everybody's needs
They made sure everybody knew what they were doing and when to do it
They were very prompt and on time with everything as well

I really enjoyed the insight a lot and I hope to join Amazon again for many future endeavors. My favorite parts would be the technical workshops we had because it opened my eyes to the things I personally needed to work on such as my knowledge on data structures and algorithms. I also enjoyed hearing different point of views of people from a lot of departments talk about their experience working for Amazon. This gave me a confidence boost on how much I would like working there
