Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
3 Day Programme - we spent our days receiving informative talks about culture and life at Amazon as well as taking part in technical workshops where we completed coding challenges. We learned about Amazon's recruitment process
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
This programme was only focused on software development engineering roles, would have liked to learn more about other technology roles. Got a good feel for the business' culture and recruitment process

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed this insight event and learned a lot about Amazon. However it did not provide different levels of training in the workshops for students who were at different skill levels of coding. I found the sessions difficult and was left to just observe other students progressing with their coding rather than getting easier tasks/ specific training. Programme also only focuses on SW engineering roles, no info provided about other tech roles.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Amazon
I would advise anyone else applying for this programme to be aware that a high standard of coding is required to get value from the technical workshops. You will struggle otherwise as basic training and explanations are not provided. Also be aware that this programme only focuses on SW Development careers, no other tech careers.
