Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight was an eye-opener!
We got introduced to Amazon's Leadership skills and we learned more about the interview and recruitment processes.
We got to dive into coding exercises. We discussed Hash maps, Caching, Testing, and we even participated in a min-team work session of two where we would code and review each other's code.
Our mentor was extremely nice and fun, so the three days program was a true win.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was amazing getting a real insight into things. Getting introduced to Amazon's Leadership skills and the Star method must be the highlight of this program for me.
Knowing that Amazon is obsessed with its consumers is great because right now I'm a consumer myself and hopefully in the future, I'll join everyone inside the business and become consumer obsessed too.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Welcoming to the most. I'm not an English and English isn't my first language, but everyone was extremely nice and understanding giving me the chance to take my time explaining things and delivering the information I wanted to say.
So, yes, they're very acceptant and welcoming when it comes to different cultures!

The technical workshops were absolutely amazing! Having one mentor with only 6 members was great, I was respected and heard.
