Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
3 full schedule days with online informative sessions about tge amazon company, their leadership principles, with real employees sharing experiences, thoughs and insights for a better future applicant, including interviews and online assessments
Also half of the time was in practical small group labs with a mentor wh ich helped each of us with practical codind exercices and personalized tips and improvements for industry. Lots of on demand practices learned from listening and getting involved in the hands on programming sessions

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
First of all, the mentor was really helful and nice and patiently guided all of us for better eventual responses in future interviews and assessments, at least for the amazon team. As for the large session, all the guests had meaningful thoughts and experiences and advices to share. Those also included lots of questions and answers where every question was answered carefully and I really feel that everyone left more confident about their next steps in their career, hopefully at amazon!

What advice would you give to others applying to Amazon
Just be serious about your time. It is really useful but belive when they tell you that u need ypir entire day dedicated to this. As long as you are active in the small group lab sessions and listen to the feedback, you will find this opportunity amazing, especially for the insights it gives and the eventual next stepts u get that for sure make you fell less lost. In conclusion just pay attention and be involved, it is worth it!
