Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Rotational Supply Chain Management-
Rotating around the business implementing changes to create lean processes and help to deliver results. As a first year apprentice you have time to settle into you're rotations and meet your team and understanding the role.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Reflecting back on my 6 months on the program it's definitely the best decision I made over studying in University full time. I've still had the exposure of living away, meeting new people and enhancing my skills. I really enjoy the program as each day can vary - there's also a lot of support on hand.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
- Communicate clearly with others
- Building connections with stakeholders
- Time management skills
-Building a network
-Meeting new people
-Adaptive behaviour to situations

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I'd say it's pretty structured as you rotate every 6 months for the first 3 years before completing a year long rotation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
We have an apprentice lead and support from rotational managers who help develop us on the scheme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Our tutor is always happy to support us with any questions- even if it's not a Uni day we can always Email the lecturer and she's always very good at responding.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I'd hope the information I'm learning on the course will develop me into a great leader. Our current module has helped me to understand my managers management style and the type of manager I would like to be and the impact we have on others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
International Women's Day Networking Event
Enrichments e.g Marketing, careers events, volunteering etc
