Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had sessions for the entire cohort in the mornings - these were mainly panel discussions and general information sessions, like an overview of the recruitment process. In the afternoons we had technical workshops with an Amazon Software Development Engineer in smaller groups (~6 people).
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very interesting, especially because we got to hear about most things from a lot of different perspectives - an entire panel - as opposed to just listening to one speaker. The opportunities to raise our own questions were also useful.

Yes! We have covered multiple coding mini-challenges (think Leetcode easy to medium), did some pair-programming and also got to hear about some fundamental CS topics and industry best practices.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was extremely relaxed and welcoming, they made sure that it was a fun and low-pressure environment and that we always had an opportunity to ask any questions that we might have.

Very much! It was interesting to hear from all the experienced people we got a chance to listen to, and it was also great to meet new people during the tech workshops!
