Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role primarily involves reporting to check managers to receive work, working to a high standard, learning while working, building my logbook, working towards my NVQ Level 3, keeping up-to-date with emails, and online training, and attending STEM events.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There is a large measure of satisfaction when I complete a job I have been assigned, and I get along well with my peers and colleagues.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have largely developed my hand skills while working in the different hangars to a good standard. I believe my communication and punctuality have also improved as an effect of talking with engineers, and responding to emails in a timely manner.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Even though my apprenticeship programme has only been running for a few years, it has a surprising amount of structure, and organisation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My managers are readily available to talk to whenever I need to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The back-and-forth can be slow, but this is a given as our assessors have a lot of apprentices to handle.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Writing up task reports and knowledge evidence documents can help us to consolidate some of the things that we have learned.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a plethora of STEM events that we can choose to attend as a STEM ambassador.
