Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I assist the HR Administrator's with their day to day roles, answering queries and escalating anything more serious to a senior member of staff. I have assisted managers with the implementation and improvement of projects and processes and sat in disciplinary meetings and pensions meetings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed the programme as it has given me more insight into HR Legislation and how this impacts our day to day lives as an organisation and how we have to continuously change our policies and processes to ensure we are staying in line with these. I have also seen how the knowledge I learn from the programme, I implement into my everyday life at work and it really allows me to secure the knowledge I have learnt from the programme as I am more of a practical learner/worker.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed my confidence in terms of communicating with people in my team and within the firm to. I also assisted with a law fair, which allowed me to communicate with university students and sixth formers, promoting my firm and the apprenticeship route. This really allowed me to further develop this skill.
I have also improved my tone in regards to writing emails and how these should be structured and how I should change my tone when talking to someone I work with in my team compared to a Partner in the firm.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I think it is well organised and structured as I have learnt all the different KSB's that I need to get me into EPA and continue to implement these into my consultative project and professional discussion, It has also allowed me to put into practice what I have learnt from the programme and everything seemed to slot in nicely with what I was doing at work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been fully supportive throughout my whole apprenticeship by allowing me to take a dedicated study day to focus on completing my BUD activities as well as time for my project and professional discussion too. They have fully supported myself with the project to ensure I am getting enough exposure to be able to complete the project in line with the SMART objectives laid out by myself and agreed by my trainer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Throughout my whole apprenticeship journey, my providers were always willing and supportive whether that be with any tasks I was struggling to complete or even if I wanted to put in a catch up to prepare for my Professional Conversation, they would provide me with really effective and encouraging feedback for my answers/
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It has given me more insight on my role and how it assists the business but also exposing me to any legislation changes I should be aware of that I need to feedback to my team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have many different networks at the firm whether this be social like our sports and social clubs, we also have networks to support and celebrate out employees. We have many networking events such as our summer and winter party.
