Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

we get the simulators ready before each crew enters. if the crew call up with any issues we go and fix it as quickly as we can. when the sims are not in use we do some planned preventative maintenance and looking into any open discrepancy.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

the program is enjoyable as it pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to experience new and interesting things

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt some new skills working with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and developed my knowledge and experience with software, electronics and electrical systems.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the programme is structed in a way that maximises the amount of time at work while still getting a college education through out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

the employer has people who are more accessible and are able to provide aid and answer more readily which is a huge help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

the assessor who is in charge of the apprenticeship is very busy and its often difficult for him to provide aid as he has a lot of people and responsibilities.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
