I’m a chef so I cook and prepare food for guests, clean regularly and make sure the kitchen is clean, using all colour coding correctly and PPE
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

At the start it was hard as I had to do Mable training at the same time and both had deadlines that had to met, after this however it was very enjoyable and lots to learn

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes as it is my first job I have learnt everything from scratch with no job experience, I have learnt knife skills, safety protocols, how to prepare food, deliveries etc

It was organised well and very well guided through with my instructor
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Not much at the start as I didn’t really need it but as it went on I was supported very well by my peers and managers
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Quiet a lot as I didnt understand a lot of questions by the wording and stuff but when he explained it I understood what it was asking
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helped me understand food prep and storing more and how to do deliveries and what to look out for
