Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Currently working in Central Operations looking at processes. My day consists of meetings and check ins and then working on my set project. I work on standardising communication and creating set responses.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am really enjoying learning on the job activities that can help me with my uni work. I find the support to be amazing and i feel encouraged and excited to take the next step in my development in E.ON

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my professional communication within a work environment with support from my line manager. I have learnt new Supply Chain skills and how to use certain platforms and processes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
As it is a scheme within a team i find it to be well-planned out and structured, with myself receiving great support form the SLT in my progression. My first placement was well-planned to allow a smooth transition into a environment environment.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive great support from the entire team with the SLT having quarterly meetings with me to ensure that my progress and development is on track. the early careers team have also provided me with great support as well as that from my buddy on the scheme
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My university has provided me with less support than my employer, but i have been provided with training sessions and VTCs to ensure we are on track. I feel like the uni has less availability to support me than my employers do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Since starting the Supply Chain specific module I have found that the learning at uni is greatly working to better my performance in work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
As i am new i haven't participated in any networks yet but i look forward to the opportunities in the future. I have seen a wide range of networks and groups for people to join and they are catered at all colleagues with a variety of options. Very inclusive
