To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Having the opportunity to take the course with likeminded individuals who were hoping to learn and progress was great, and something I would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of taking it on. Although challenging, it has certainly been a rewarding programme to be involved with.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I learnt a huge amount on my apprenticeship. Over the modules covered, we started the journey with leading leaders, personal development, influencing and communicating before then moving on to performance management, recruitment, leading change (which I really enjoyed), project management, financial management and finally operational management which brought all of these areas together.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Initially we had to go through a change of coach, as the structure was not sufficient for our needs. After being listened to, we then had a new coach where things were organised and structured a lot better than before, and we all could see the difference in our output.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Having the opportunity to take skills away from the learning days, and use these in the workplace was great. I was happy that my direct line manager gave me the platform to use my skillset, and further challenged me to develop this more on the programme. Overall, they were good
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A lot! The provider was excellent and there for me during each step of the way which was a great help, especially when initially we had a change in our coach. Whether by telephone, or scheduled calls in the diary, my coach was available to support throughout the journey with a personalised approach.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
My qualification will and has already helped me tremendously. I have moved job roles twice whilst being on the programme, and feel my leadership skills have developed immensely. I would certainly recommend this to my colleagues at work, and some of my direct team have now enrolled on to the course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
No, none that are regularly set up and held, unfortunately. This course was great for networking within the workplace, as it opened up the door to working with lots of different people in roles that work nationally and both at a site level. The extra-curricular activities at my local workplace could be improved.

Would you recommend Nuffield Health to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I enjoy coming to work and feel I can add value to lives of our patients. The benefits package with is great, and has a gym membership, private healthcare and a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits. This in addition to private health assessments adds up to a great package.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nuffield Health?
Do your research about the charity before you apply - Nuffield Health is Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity and not many people realise this. There are a huge amount of opportunities to take at the charity, if you are willing to put the work in to further yourself and your career. Don't hold back from it.
