Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The program included workshops that gave an insight into the work of the Global Data and Sales and Analytics Departments of Bloomberg with many opportunities to ask questions to the Bloomberg professionals, sessions about the use of Bloomberg Terminal, project time in a team of students and in general lots of fun activities.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
This gave me a better understanding of the work of the big company and the potential career growth opportunities within Bloomberg. While asking questions to the Bloomberg Professionals I found out more about the skills necessary for the position that I can specifically target while preparing for the job application.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I hugely enjoyed the company culture which seemed to be very welcoming and inclusive. Specifically, I was very inspired by the amount of Bloomberg communities in which workers can be involved and spend time with their colleagues outside the work setting as well.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Honestly, this program was one of the most enjoyable events that have happened to me in the latest time. I got very inspired by the Bloomberg employees and their collaborative approach, which only strengthened my desire to work there. I was also very happy to get acquainted with many talented students with many of whom I hope to stay in touch.

I recommend watching lots of videos on the Bloomberg YouTube channel as this way you can find out more about the company's values and products, which can help you during the interview process and in general, will give you a better understanding of the work culture.
