Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the virtual internship and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The experience involved 9am-5pm virtual commitment over Zoom with numerous lectures on company's culture, panels, engaging project activities, and informational sessions on ADSK, Global Data, Sales and Analytics, Equity data, etc. It involved direct exposure to the Terminal as well as comprehensive explanations of buy/sell side, options and futures.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very inspiring as before my knowledge was limited just to a couple of roles. Now I can truly see how collaborative Bloomberg is. I noticed a lot of potential for growth and ability to merge between different roles and departments.

I have updated my soft skills such as presentation skills and pitches (during project work and presentation), pitch and public speaking (during Toastmasters), empathy and communication skills (during panels and D&I discussions).
In terms of hard skills I learnt how to do proper analytical research, use Terminal and analyze the market and financials
