PODP is a great opportunity to meant new people in the company and learn together about aspects of our jobs in the different processing sectors, the trainers are great and always keep the topics engaging. I’d highly recommend it to new people coming into the industry and business
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy this program and having the opportunity to come down for two days each month with a good cohort and not only learn a lot about the job but being able to have a laugh with each other

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of new skills relevant to my sector in the industry as well as other sectors I wouldn’t get chance to see but having that knowledge will help me progress in the future

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is structured throughout the year and always give prior notice of dates and hotel confirmations to make sure it’s easy accessible
How much support do you receive from your employer?

All the trainers and employers give good support wether it’s coursework or miss understanding of a topic

I get a lot support and they are always willing to assist if I am stuck
