Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Day to day basis involves, organising and running project meetings, raising costs, working on projects, and joining meetings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my programme, the work is excellent and has taught me a lot, I also enjoy university but it is hard to balance both of them when assignments are due.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt new skills namely, briefing, networking, as well as developed some existing skills such as Presenting, Organisation as well as many more

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
This is the one area where I would say there could be improvements both from the work side and the university as communication doesn't always seem to be the best as well as consideration by the university for us when making decisions.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My employer is great, the support I receive from the company in general is great with lots of opportunities to help me as well as specifically my manager is great.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My Training provider can be very helpful when needed especially when it comes to my portfolio but I believe this is only need because there was a lack of communications to begin with,
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I believe my qualification has helped me relate to my work in that parts of what I learn and work on overlap, but I also feel an amount of what we learn I have previously learnt about at school etc.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
This is one thing we are not short of, there is probably at least one extra-curricular activity a week, whether it be a sports club, social events, team dinners, charity events etc. there is always something on.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
Just be yourself, there is no point trying to be the person you think they want, give it your all and make sure you prepare.
