Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
My role, working the London Retail management team included; site visits to retail units where we were carrying out management duties and reporting back to the owners. Office based admin work; chasing rent arrears, updating retail ranking and much more.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The business and roles available within the business was explained to me in great detail over the week that I was at Savills, With a half an hour zoom meeting with a member of each department in which the role was explained and any questions were answered.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture came across as very welcoming and warm, this was ranforced though out the week as I learnt more about the company and the support and training they provide to each of their grads while studding for their APC. Overall it was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight week. The team that I was assigned to were very friendly and extremely helpful, always willing to take the time to explain when I didn't understand something. The company culture encourages this and overall made this experience even better. I hope to come back one day.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills
The advice I would give to others applying would be to be yourself and friendly to everyone you meet. Reach out to as many people as possible and speak to them about their jobs and different departments. Don't pass up any opportunities that are given to you. Lastly, try to enjoy it as much as possible because the week goes very quickly.
