Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work within the procurement function, managing order books and raising purchase orders. This involves negotiating with suppliers and having regular catch ups with them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy the different opportunities offered by my scheme, the idea of different placements offers different exposure. The off the job aspects are also great opportunities.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt skills in professionalism, organisation, teamwork and communication, as well as many more that I can develop along the course of the scheme.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Fantastic, the placement structure is great and I think the college/assignment aspect is well organised. I am looking forward to a 5 day trip to the Lake District with my cohort next month.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I know where to go with any questions and I always receive an adequate response in good time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The college assignments are well explained, however I feel I often have to go into more detail when asking questions about how I can make improvements. However, on the job my team are excellent in supporting my development.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to gain and develop skills on my apprenticeship, before performing them to perfection when I enter my exit role in 2024.
