Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Lots of office work, updating documents, attending meetings and moving around site to complete tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am enjoying all of the new experiences. The opportunity to get paid to go to uni is a bonus.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
There are lots of new software to get to grips with so this is something I have had to learn.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is organised, we move placements on a 6 month rotation for the first 3 years and spend the last 2 years in our exit role.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There are members of the early careers team who are always available to offer support but placements can be very busy.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Not much, we are left to do our uni work in our own time.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Again, not much as the degree is not tailored to my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are lots of off the job tasks to get involved in. We have to do 20% of our hours as off the job learning.
