Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

You're role will vary depending on what section of the factory you work in such as building or stripping the engine to doing inspection, repair and testing of the components.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the program as it gave me opportunities to develop my skills working on the tools but at times there was not much work to do and had to wait.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed many skills such as that of using hand tools, I am now much more confident and competent with using hand tools to do various jobs. I have learned and develop my team skills as I am often working in a team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It has got much better than it used to with a new training school been created to help with the early careers. the electrical program could be more suited to aircraft electrics.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received good support from my employer as I have done many activates through the collage and have participated in WS 2023 which the company fully supported.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received good support from my training provider during the program but there was a lack of assessors to help with the paperwork, the company has recruited and is training more assessors now to help the apprentices.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel more confident going into my role with the qualifications that I have and will receive but they could be more suited to the specific program.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
